It's not the destination..It's the journey...Ya Right..!!!

Well they say that the journey is what makes us..and the ywould be right..but what made my day was the cold PACIFIC OCEAN..!!!..For any of you that don't know what side that is, it is the west coast..and that means I MADE IT..!!!! I cannot believe that i just finished my wee ride across the States, it has been the most incredible adventure. I started just about one month ago from the beautiful east coast, Thank you Brother Brew, your house down there was a great starting point. I have cycled 3352.5 miles and some how ended up at the beautiful beach the call Huntington, ohhh what joy...it feel strange now, what am i going to do next? who know's? I have had an incredible trip, I have met so many wonderful and incredible people, I have to thank you once again, I love you all, THANK YOU..!!!! I finished my ride at about 11:30 am pacific time, put my bike up and ran into the sea, and as I am typing this, I never got eaten by a shark!!!! Thats a great thing....I had a great day, I really did, I visited with Elder Reese, wow..what a fine young man and missionary he has turned into, I am so excited for the other boys to get out on their own mission...We went and got sone lunch then took them home, He is doing great President and Sister Reese, he sends his love...I got back to Alta Loma and took a nice quick shower, then went to a Baptism, it was great 4 young litttle kids all getting baptised, Magnificent..!!! Then it was the moment i have been waiting for,,,IN & OUT..!!! 2 DOUBLE DOUBLE ANIMAL STYLE BURGERS..... ohhhh yeah...sooooo gooo dye so bad. I have had a wonderful day today, It is coming to an end..I must sleep, I have church at 9am, Thank you, It was great too see you. I love you all, everybody who has helped and suppoted me, WIFE SUPPORT... Great thing that..haha. I need to go to bed, I am sooo tired, Night night...

I am just about to head off to the beach..anyone want to come?...I am so excited ..I will be done in about 55 miles or so, not to far to go. I think i will take a wee dip in tHA Pacific. This has been an amazing journey, fupp of ups and downs, Thank you to every single person who has supported and helped me achieve this, I love you..!!!!!. I am back home in Brave Country..!!!!!!!!!!!!....

What a great day, it started off pretty tough, now i know why there was more windmills in the vally than i have ever seen before in my life...WOW..!!!. Tha wind was so tough, I just had to keep on plodin on. What an adventure I had, I 10...what a fun road, sort off, if you like huge MAC TRUCKS flying past you about a foot away..i do..haha..good times.."Livin in the edge"..I was on I 10 all the was to San Bernadino untill i got pulled over by CHIPS...!!!!...HAHA...The California Highway Patrol got me..It was so funny, we chatted for a wee bit then he let me take a picture with him, great lad. I then had to find my way to Alta Loma myself, I was trying to jog my memory, so i got onto Foot Hill and just kept going...turned up to Baseline...and yeeee haaaa, I got here. David ....could you tell i was a wee bit excited?....I called Beverly Nelson to tell her I was in town, I rode straight to my old high school, took some photos, wow, memories. I finaly got to the Nelson home at about 6:30 ish. It was amazing to see Sister Nelson, it has been soooo long, Brother Nelson came home and we went out for dinner, we met up with Steven and his wife, it is so crazy how quick people grow, Steven..you have become a man...haha. I am so excited to be here, I might just stay, or not. I have one more day of cycling...then i have done "COAST 2 COAST"..I need to go to bed..so very tired, i will get up with you tomorrow, I love you all...sending my love from Brave Country....Tom-a- hawk Chop...Night...

I am here, I am in Cali... in a Motel 6 in Palm Springs... had a wee ride of 180 miles...Left early this monring...4am, and arrived in at 7:30pm tonight !!! Will try and catch up on the blog tomorrow once I get back home to Alta Loma !!! A wee shout out to the guy I helped on the side of the road after he had a blow out on his car.... right after you left I had a blow out too... Have a great day !!! Today has to be one of the very best day of my trip so far. What a wonderful day, it started off really wet, and got sooo nice...Brother and sister Shellenberger thank you so much for everything. I appreciate you and your family so very much, I had a great weekend, Thank you.!! I had a really good ride today, I like days that I actually pass something instead of being on a straight road all day. I got to ride right through the Pheonix area, Mesa, Tempe, Glendale . It was incredible. I had the most amazing experiences today. I passed by the Mesa Temple, and stopped into take some photos, ohh I am so glad i did, President and sister Peterson, words cannot even describe today, Thank you. President Peterson, Thank you from the bottom of my Heart, I needed that, more than you know. OHHH..and thank you for my very own personel viewing of the Joseph Smith movie, WOW..!!!!!...What a man, incredible. I had a wonderful experience today thank you for allowing me that. I got back on the road after about a 2 hour lunch break, ohh i am so lazy...I still had a good few miles to go to Peoria, It was a cool ride, i went through down town everthing, went by Sundevil stadium, brought back some
memories..A. I really had a wonderful day today which was made complete when i saw IN & OUT..!!!!!! ohhh yeah..!!!!so hard not to go in and get a double double ...i will wait till Cali for that. I got into town at about 5:30 ish, i think, time means nothing just now, it is just another amazing day filled with amazing thinks..I am staying with Bishop Call and his family, he is so cool but makes fat jokes haha....and has the coolest toilet i have ever seen.. I ate a mountain of Pasta this evening, brrrrilliant..!!! I hope everyone is well, I only have about 4 more riding days, I will be in Cali on Wednesday...ohh my gosh...I have a longish ride tomorrow, about 95 miles through the desert, ohhh what ...it is to ride on big red and white bike..!!!something does not sound right about that song...Take care every body I love and like and care about and enjoy...Sweet dreams and God Bless...

Hey there...how are we all today?...magnificent I hope..I had a wonderful day. I spoke to Beverly Nelson, wow...been so long, I was so excited to talk to her. I had a wonderful day off today, I got up nice and early and went to Church here in Globe, they have a really nice church here. I was asked to talk to the youth, a lil bit scary but it was fun, I hope that they got something from it, I know i did. After Church we got home and then i got all western up in here, I shot a 22, a 12 guage shotgun and a Gloc..!!!!..ohhh yeah...i am a real cowboy now, I do need to work on my aim a little..haha. It was a nice relaxing day, it was such a beautiful day here, overcast, and it felt soooo good...We went for a nice drive this evening along 188, The Rosevelt Highway, gorgeous drive, went upto the dam, and across the bridge, it is the largest single span bridge in North America, it was pretty neat. I am loving this trip, I am seeing so many amazing things and having such amazing experiences it has been brrrilliant. I have a long ride to morrow, I am heading to Pheonix, loooong day through Death Valley...I am so excited...maybe..!!!! I have to get up early so I will be going to bed real soon, not just because I need to get rest, ohh I do need some beauty sleep..I am still in the Mountains so I will have lots of ups and downs...hopefully more downs than ups...Hey Gran Happy Birthday..!!!..I love you..xxx

Good evening my dear friends and family...I hope you are all well...I had a great day today..a lil more mountains that i wanted but i guess my legs hadn't had enought coming through New Mexico. I left Safford this morning....they were having a rain storm..it looked just like our everyday wee shower in Scotland, but hey..they needed it, it did look a bit gry, appart from your yard Bishop...soo green..haha. I rode to Globe today...I had to ride fast..i was going through Apache teritory..and I made...with my head and all. It was really cool, I stoped in at a store and the Native Americans were talking there native tounge, soo cool, I tried to listen in, had no clue. It was a beaytuful ride today, I could see for miles, well after i got to the top of the 10 mile hill out of San Carlos..!!!!...wow soo long..I thought the hils were over after that..ohhh how wrong I was. It was a nice wee ride after that into town.I went through Bylas which is the Apache Indian Reservation, hello Laminites..how are you?..I am staying With Brother Shellenberger and his family, up in the mountains, so pretty up here. It was so nice this evening, cool breeze, sun setting, lovely..I am excited, day off tomorrow, church the R and R...ohh I need it. Bishop Evans, sister Evans, Val and Brice, thank you so much for yesterday, Sister Evans, your green chilie..so nice..my lips still burn. Yes I am....can you believe it..I didn't until I seen the big sign that said..ARIZONA...The Grand Canyon State..ohhh and boy, then I got scared, it took me a few seconds to remember that it is up north...wow...I am no Evil Kinevel, but I would have tried to jump it...It was a nice ride today, lots of ups and downs, pretty hilly...I got lost straight of the bat this morning, what a blessing that was. If I had taken the road I was supposed too, I would probably still be pushing my bike along a dirt track..Or so I was told. I got on 90, and just prayed that it would run into 70 somewhere then I could turn right. You know what..it did...can you believe it...Just as I turned onto 70 my man Torre passed me...Shouting "hello mate"...What a great lad....I had a good ride to day..not to much excitement..just some breathtaking views, Heavenly Father, What an artist. ohhh I failed to mension that my back tire exploded today...my tube never went flat, but I had a 5 inch gash down the middle of my tire...I do not know how I made it to Safford, but I did, I went straight to Cycle path were Tom helped me..Thank you buddy. I am staying with Bishop Evans and his family this evening, I know I keep saying this but They are awsome...I really have been so blessed to meet the people I have. We took a wee drive, around town, did you know that Safford is the home town of President Kimball, We drove by his home, his old office ...sooo cool. I am loving it, not long to go, I am almost done...I don't know if I want it to end, and then I sit on my bike, then I remember that I do..haha. I have about an 80 mile trip tomorrow, I am heading to Globe tomorrow, right through Indian country, if I don't update tomorrow, I have take an arrow or a tomahawk to the head..just plaaayyyiinnn...dont' worry mum, I can ride fast. I need to go sleep, I love you all, I miss you all...ya..all of you...Sweet dreams, I am so excited for tomorrow, it is Saturday, which means day of rest the next day...ohhh how I love those...Take it easy, or just take it however you can get it. Helllooooooooooooooo....I am so sorry i have not been able to get you guys with what is new on my adventure...But I am here now...Yesterday...wow...loooong day....I left Las Cruces to get to Silver city....what a hard ride, my longest one so far, not for distance...but time.I think NC you have a Hurricane coming your way..it is called..HURRICANE BEAT UP ROBERT...It hit me hard, I could not get ove about 11 miles per hour, if i stoped pedaling I stoped..it was crazy. It was a fun day though. I cycled through a town called Deming, for some reason i wanted a McChicken sanwhich, but the McDonalds was about a mile away from my turn off, but you know what, for some reason i had to go. As I walked in a gentleman stood up and asked me how i was doing, which was very nice of him because I was tirrreeedddd..Anyways, to cut a long story short, he was a member of the Church. Hey Torre..you are the man..Joe, it was great to meet you...Maybe you guys can talk to David and get him to sponsor me... It was so cool, i can't believe that they were there, I really needed that. I got back on the road again, only 52 miles to go..not bad, about 3 hours worth of ridine..ohhhh how i wish, it took me for ever. I never got into Silver City untill late, Thank you so much Sister Mcgoffin and Gabe, you guys were so cool. Hey Gabe, West Philidelphia born and raised, on the playground is where I spent most of my days..!!!!..haha. Late night, early rise.....I got up at 5 am, I did not feel goood a tol..first day my body has been hurting...all good now though...anyways, I am going to finish with this update, and start on today...talk to you in a minute..!!!!

Welcome from Las Cruces...I am here, but tomorrow I will be gone. What a day...I was almost blown off my bike by a Stealth bomber. Avoiding Missiles...I am so lucky I can pedal fast..haha. I saw the snow..no..the White sands..wow...so beautiful. It looks just like snow but it is 100 degrees outside. I had what i thought would be a nice short day today...ohhh no..didn't quite work out that way. The pass through the mountains killed me, I ran out of water, I thought I was never going to get to the top of the mountain. I did..and what a joy it was...freeeeeee wheellliiinnnn..!!!!!! Good times...I have had bike troubles for the last couple of days, and they just got worse, my bottom bracket on my bike blew out all the bearings..not fun trying to ride metal on metal...I got up Ride on bike shop here in Las Cruces, it is owned buy Brother David Hill...tha yo sir..!!! As i was cycling to the shop a spoke snapped on my poor wee bike, I have to laugh, if I didn't I would cry..but I am having awy to much fun for that. It is so amazingly hottt right now, if anyone has an idea to turn the temp down it would be greatly appreciated..big time..!!!!. I got al done at about 7 this evening, had a nice cold bath and shower. I am staying with President and Sister Call, really nice couple and his mom is way cool. I just finished some of the best Fahitas I ever had...sooo good, I thaink i maybe ate a lil to much...its ok, I know i will burn it off tomorrow. I have a loooong day tomorrow, over 110 miles to Silver City, motly up hill...I don't like those to much...but hey..sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do...got to KEEP ON KEEPIN ON..!!! What a day, so much going on..the Stealths fighters are ubelievable, i stood like a tourist for ages taking photos..well trying to, its hard to take a photo of something that is designed to be undetectable.. haha. Well good evening...I can now post how my day went, i just got in from the cold pool...ohhh yeah my legs needed that. What a day i had...the mountains ...what else can i say...MAN..!!!!! Long day today, i had bike problems straight form the get go, my bottom bracket has gone on my bike, which means no pedeling hard, so it made for a long day up hill...I got off to a pretty early start, went by the BULLDOG BOWL..!!!..wow what a place to play high school football, Thank you so so much Brother and Sister Macfarlane, i had a great time with you guys. Bakc to today...long one, i had a climb of about 6000ft, and with a broken bike..not too much fun, but i had Hope, well after i stoped in a wee town and went to the Hope store, thank you..!!! Back on the road again, this day seemed to take forever, the road was long and it was hot and I was getting so tired, i just had to keep on. WOW...the mountains were beautiful, a very different beautiful to Scotland, but ohh so very. I didn't know that you could ski in NM, but after i seen the ski lifts, I am a believer. Thank you so much to my 2 angels on the road today, you saved my life..haha. I got to Cloud Croft at about 4 pm this afternoon and went to see Matt and High Altitude, thanks buddy, i appreciate your help, Lets hope the bike lass to Las Crucus. What a joy I beheld when i letf the shop...WOW...down hill ...and boy..does it go down hill...I didn't have to pedel for about 16 miles...top speed 45 mph...now that i s trucking opn a wee red bike... Some of the scenery was breathtaking, it was so strange, as I got higher up the temp dropped slowly. As i came down, you could feel it heat up so fast, it went from about 75 to about 95 in just a couple of minutes...What a great down hill, I felt like King of the mountains..taking race lines..but very carefully, i don't really want to hit any oncoming...anything..I got into Alamogordo at about 7pm, and came to meet President Wallace, great lad, he is a physio here in town, and has the hookup to the clinic, we went over to his work and I got into the cold pool and swan for a bit..I needed that.What a day, I pray that it my bike gets better, poor thing has had my big body on it for about 3 weeks now, I think she has had enough, not to far to go now though..tick tock..thats the time passing, I will soon be on the home straight. I am heading Las Crucus tomorrow, it is a shorter day only about 70 miles, so I hope I can get my bike fixed so it will be all like new again. Thank you to EVERYBODY..!!!!..who keeps me smiling everyday..I am so greatful...I will put up some photos tomorrow...Good night..sweet dreams....

Helllooooooooooooooo Every body..!!!!
I am in New Mexico, i cannot believe it, but i really am..What a great day I had, from Texas 2 Artesia New Mexico...about 110 miles, the road was good, not much to see so all i did was ride. I must have been going good because I stoped in at a store to gatorade up and some truck driver said he passed me a few miles back...he asked how he hek i managed to get there...I guess i knew a short cut or something. I got done at about 3:30 this afternoon. I am so glad, as I have a big one tomorrow...Mountains here I come...it's ok, only about a 6000 ft climb..ahhh..but what is really cool about that is ..what goes up..must come down..ohh yeah..I am so excited about that, love those race lines.. I am in Artesia NM, it is a nice wee town, apart from the flat i got when i got here, over 100 miles ..no flat...sitting outside Physio office..flat..how do you explain that one? President and Sister Anderson, Gram and Catie, thank you for making my weekend brilliant. I am staying with my Scottish Fam tonight..The Macfarlanes...Ralph and Sherry, by the way..they have two Polar Bears cleverly disguised as dogs...haha. no for real, Elanor and Madelene..wow..so beautiful. I rode by many dinosaur zoos today, naaa not really but the oil fields with all the pump jacks look lke huge dinosaurs eating stuff off the ground. They are really cooeeell..appart from the fumes, they stink, my head was hurting, maybe it was the altitude, i am getting up there...and it is only going to get higher and hotter... Hey, did you see the street sign above..man, I have streets called after me everywhere..haha...just plaaayyiinnn... Loco hills...I thought i might bump into some peeps from Greenville there..but nope...no where to be seen..haha. I am doing great, my body is holding up fantastic, infact, it seems to be getting better and stronger everyday. I know i am being blessed in such massive ways. Hey Jeff, thanks for the call, i appreciate you big time, i reall do...ohhh and Toddy..hak yeah..i might just make it..haha. I hope all is well in Scotland and with the Fam..I love you guys. Hellllooooooooooooooooo...How are you all doing this wonderful Sunday?...Very well I hope. I have had a wonderful day, I got up this morning and went to Church, The Seminole Branch was great, there was 11 of us and that was including me. It was great though, what a wonderful spirit there was. The High Council was visiting, they gave some real good talks. Do you recognize any of these photos?..well do you..."FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS"..The Permian Panthers..I went to Odessa and visited the Ratliff Stadium and the high school, it was cool....I do love that movie..poor Boobie..!!!!I still have my MOJO...I must go on...It is not as cooolll as Rose High...RAMPANT POWER..!!!!!...We came back and went to Church to watch the broadcast from Saltlake for the Pioneers, WOW..some fantastic music. I have had a brilliant weekend, I have had a great visit to Seminole Texas..!!! I have a big day tomorrow, over 100 miles...and I will be hitting the mountains...ohh what joy...I know my legs will be tested tomorrow, but the good thing about mountains is...when you go up, you have to come down the other side...yeeee haaaa....!!!!!..I hope everyone is doing Brrrrillliiannntttt...much love to ya'll..Good night

Seminole..!!!!..No 1 in so many things..oil, peanuts, cotton and peeps...so the sign says.!!! Yes I am in Texas, no I didn't take a wrong turn and end up in Florida, would be nice though,..naaa..I think I will go to Cali.!!!!..I had a wonderful ride today, I got done just before 4 pm, I got my last 45 miles or so done in just over 2 hours, I was flying...like..If I had wings on my bike I may well have taken off....maybe not, I still weigh well over 200 lbs, I would be a big bird. It was a nice ride today, I only had 1 turn to make, straight up 87 then turned left on 180, not even I could get lost with those directions. Ohhh by the way, there is not much out here between towns, but sun and fields and lil lizards..They were cool, they kept running by me... quick little critters. I am so excited to be done today, I can have a relaxing evening with The Andersons. No cycling tomorrow, I will be at Church here in Seminole, a wee Branch, I am so excited, The High Council is visiting, so I won't be talking..Thank you Bishop, I did enjoy talking in Mt Pleasant..It has been an amazing week, I can't believe that I am almost done, 2 more weeks and I will be standing on Huntington beach...wooooo hoooooooooo...Thank you everybody that has helped me and is still, I know that when we work hard and do good things that we will be blessed with the things we stand in need off. I appreciate you all I really do..Oh and please go out and by books or talks by John Bytheway, he is brrrrrilliant...Thank you...he has made my trip the last few days magnificent. Big Spring!!!!!.....

Hey....How are you all doing?...I am a lil late updating, I got to Big Spring last night, I could not get updated. I am sorry, I know how everyone in the world is sitting on the edge of their chair waiting to read my blog..Or not..!!!. Anyways, I had a great ride to Big Spring, it was long, 110 miles...Man..And it was not the flattest road, very cool though, I seen my first ever real working Oil Pump...I was like ohhh ahhh..!!!! That's how it works..haha. Big Spring seemed to take forever for me to get there, I eventually got there at about 6:30 ish, Bishop Settle came to meet me. The photo above is of me up the hill over looking Big Spring, it was pretty, ahhh I like lights..haha. I had a good evening the Big Spring ward was having a social, good food the I got to watch the movie The Legacy, it was good, I have never seen it before. I got to stay in the RV last night, coooeeellll....Thank you so much Bishop and Sister Settle, I had a wee bit bike trouble and had to change my front tire, good times at 10:30 pm...I slept like a baby. i got up early this morning and headed off to Seminole it was about 90 miles or so.

Hey...how are ya'll doing..in my best Texan accent...I am great, i had a great day today, just a lil ride, i rode just under60 miles today, i got dona at about 4pm, man it was good to get done so early. What a morning though...i got 4 flats yesterday, i ran out of tubes, and needed to get new tyres. There was no bike shops in Eastlands, so i got up this morning and Scott, drove me to Abilene to the bike shop "Biketown". Thank you so much Jim for letting me in early, i really appreciate you. We then drove back to Eastlands si could get started on my ride, Scott, Star, and your 2 precious lil ladies Thank you so very much, Scott, remember our 2010 trip...don't let me down..I must give a big SHOUT out to CISCO girls SOCCER..!!!!!..OLAYYYY OLAYYY OLAYYY OLAYYY..!!!!!! I left about 11:45 am and rode to Abiline, it was a nice little ride today, i got burned up though, my shoulders are a wee bit sore. I did a tv show this evening in town, KRBC, thank you Stephanie, it was great to meet you. After my wee bit on the news, i went to the YMCA and took a water exercise class for people with MS, it was awsome, hellooooo ladies, thank you...haha. Hey there everybody...How are you all doing?...magnificent i hope...What a wonderfull day, i did..it started terrible, i did not sleep good...woke up feeling terrible..good times...I went over to the Paynes for breakfast and hung out for a wee while, it was a lot of fun, thank you guys so so much...!!!! I had a nice wee ride today, was hot but not way to hottt...i can't believe i got 4 flats today, my poor wee tyres are worn down, it myst be all the 100 degree weather pounding on them. I definetly got plenty of practice changing them, i may look into a professiona sa pit guy in the grand prix...or not.!!!!. I got into Weatherford at about 5:30 this evening, I am staying with Scott and Star Toupe, they have 2 beautiful little girls, they are a really great couple. I must thank everyone again, i am so so so greatful for all that everyone has done for me. I have been so blessed on this trip, i have met so many incredible people that i know have been wonderful for me. I pray that we can all keep in touch in the future. I am about to go to Walmart to try and get some new tubes, ran out today...not much fun knoing that i have no spares...My trip is going great still, i really am loving it, i need to give a big hello to wee David, thank you for my message, I love you. I miss Greenville, don't really know why, but hey..i really do. Thank you for all your support. Hey...Good morning..!!!!

I am in Sunny Weatherford..It was along day yesterday, i never got on my way until way late yesterday afternoon, so i got into Weatherford a wee bit late. Thank you so much Bryan and Karina, you guys were great, i loved you guys, and you r 3 lil men...ohhh yeah...look at them..haha..."hear no, speak no, see no...nothing"..!!!!!I did have a great day, i had to get my bike looked at, thank you Donny.!!! "Plano Cycling"..I really appreciate it. I had a good day, long yet long, I got to visit "TEXAS STADIUM" it was pretty cool, WOW...I didn't realize how scary i look close up..haha...I do have an excuse, i just rode 50 miles...thats mine, and i am sticking to in..I do want to come back a play there some day and play for the BIG TUNA...It was hot yesterday, over 100..wow...but for some reason it feels so good. Brother Payne met me out side the courthouse in downtown Weatherford..It seems like a pretty wee town, from what i remember, it was dark last night..haha. I stayed with Brother and sister Bell, Thank you so so much. Brother payne came and picked me up at about 7am this morning and brought me to his home. His fam are really cool, 10 kids...i don't know how people do it....I am heading off to East lands today, just a short trip, i will be leaving a lil bit earlier so i can get done and relax a while. Well...what a day, i finaly made it though. I got my first FLAT..ohh I hope i don't to many of them, It was my fault too..What an idiot...good time today though, i rode about 112 miles today, just a wee short one, The weather started real hottt, but it rained today way up ahead of me, i didn't get wet, but i did get all the cool weather after it, man...it felt great. I love this picture, this was the sky as i got into MC KINNEY, I was so happy to get done today. I really need to get a BB gun i think, their are some crazy DAWGS here is Texas, they must smell the burning flesh on my body because they chase me like i am their dinner, it does give me a wee extra burst of speeeeddddd...I got into Mc Kinney at about 9pm, i got a shower and went out to eat some pasta...ohhh yeah...carbs are my friend, It was really nice to sit and chat with Bryan, good guy, really good guy.Hey..I need to say thankyou to the Willian's..you guys are the greatest, thank you so very much, i had so much fun with you this weekend, hello little ladies....remember Kayla, (slide). I have had more problems with my bike i need to take it back to the Drs, i am carrying way to much weight, my poor wee wheel keeps buckling, and no, its not me, it is my pan ayers!!!!...I only have a wee short ride tomorrow, so i think i will get my wheel fixed then take a trip to COWBOY STADIUM..!!!..Go see the big Tuna..!!!!..I want to thank you all once again for all your help, and for all the help that you are still giving me. I am in Texas.....i can't believe it.Today was awsome, i cycled about 120 miles today, from Arkansas to Texas....UNBELIEVABLE...HAHA...I looked for oil at this pump, but it wasn't happening, not going to strike it rich that way. I am in Mt Pleasant TX, almost half way to Cali..!!!!..I got into town this evening at about 6pm, i cycled to the Church to meet, Sister Willian, who i will be staying with for the weekend, I am sooo excited, i just found out that Brother Willian is a chiropractor, i will be getting adjusted tomorrow...i cannot wait, my wee body is sore...My ride was a long one today, 62 south was not a very fun road to ride, it felt like i was riding on a cobbled street. I was chased down by a dog today, i should thank him though, i have not rode so fast since i started my trip, i have to admit it, I was a wee bit scared, he was a big doggy...and boy did he run fast...i clocked him at 26 mph....genetic dawg freak...I am so excited to have tomorrow off, Church then relaxing, catching up with some needed rest. That is another week gone, things are going great, the bike is magnificent, Thank you Chris and the "Bicycle post", everything has been great, It is late just now, i am going to bed, i will update tomorrow, let everyone know whats up..I love you all, thank you all for all your support and hard work, Night night, Peace..!!!!

Well good evening everyone..I hope you are all doing MAGNIFICENT..!!!!!!..I had a great day today, it was hottt yet very nice, lots of trees with good shade. I rode from Monticello AR to Magnolia AR, just about 100 miles, got here a wee bit later than i thought i would, i had a wee bit bike trouble, so had to take me bike to the doctors, thank you "The Bicycle Shop" in El Dorado, you are the men..!!!!. But let me tell you all what happened today. I was talking to the Keith in the bike shop, ps (I hope yo have a great ride this weekend) We were talking about random stuff, as i like to, and sports came up..suprise...well i mentioned NFL Europe, and that i had played over there, he told me that the former Scottish Claymores Head Coach lived just down the street, "ARE YOU KIDDING ME" My exact words...I was sooooo excited, I had not seen Coach Dahlquist for a couple of years, it was great to see you and Mrs Coach Dahlquist, he then called Coach Criner, it was great to talk to him ..really amazing. Coach thank you so so much, i really appreciate all you did. WOW..!!!! What a day...i then had to try an get on the road again, i still had about 30 miles or so to go. What a great day..i am still smiling..!!!! I get to Texas tomorrow..!!!!...almost half way. It is going to be hot, i am so excited, my tan is looking TANTASTIC...!!!!. Things are great still, thank you for last night Press Carr, thank you for allowing me to serve with you. How is it with the Fam back?..no more bachelor pad for you..haha. I am staying with Pressident Pines here in Magnolia, cool man, cool family. I am so thankfull for all that everyone is doing to help me in this wee trip, I am so greatful for the my membership in the Church, and for all my brothers and sisters all over. I made it to Arkensas...crossed the Mississippi river at about 2:30 today..what a long bridge..I got some horns blown at me as i stopped to take this photo, i guess i didn't see the "no stopping on bridge sign" It was a hotttt day today, my nose is getting a bit red, i should maybe wear some protection on. I t was a nice ride, i rode through Greenville, ohh how i wished it was home, but i guess i will have to wait a wee bit longer. Hey big shout out to the Burger king ladies, I told you i would make you famous..haha. Thanks for the ice and water..you saved my life.. The mississippi river looked so good, i almost wanted to dive in and cool off, its not quite that bad yet. I got into Monticello this evening, I am staying with President Carr here, what a great man, we had a guys evening, he is getting to play while his wife and daughter are away at a rodeo..sounds like fun, i might become a cowboy. I just need a stetson and a nice pair of cowboy boots. The trip is going great, i really appreciate all your support and keep commenting, i need the support. I am almost in the Lone star state...TEXAS..!!! I am so excited. Greenwood here i come..this is the first sign i saw for Greenwood, i had already cycled about 12 miles already..ohhh the joys. It was a long day, I am cycling highway 82, it just seems to be one straight road, which is good because i can't really take a wrong turn, but some how i still manage to. I am finally done with hills for a wee bit, i am in the Delta..long and very flat, it does seem like their is a bit of an incline, because my legs are BURNING..!!!!. I got into greenwood at about 6:30 pm, i was met by the local tv company, they followed and filmed me for a bit, then stopped me for an interview, that might have been the worst thing i could have done...my poor wee legs started to cramp up..I stayed in a motel last night, THE GOLDEN COACH..ohh yeah..!!!! king size bed and all, slept like a baby. Thank you President Leach, big day tomorrow, on my way to ARKENSAS...Monticello, across the MISSISSIPPI RIVER...WOO HOO...I am still doing good, another day down..ohh so many to go, Take care, Love you all.

I made it, i have cycled through 3 states in only a couple of days. I was so excited to see this sign. I did a radio interview this morning, it was cool, Cash, it was good talking to you, and thank you for making me the HOME TOWN HERO for the day..what an honor..!!!! It was a long day today, and dang it was so hottttt..!!!! I had a great day today, i met some really wonderful people, big man, your Hummer rocks..look at that H1...ohh yeah.!!!!..Thank you so much. Glen, it was great to meet you also, i enjoyed our conversation, i really did. I got to Columbus at about 6:30 this evening, i am staying ith a really cool Missionary couple thi evening, Elder and Sister Cook, soooo cooolll, they are serving a genealogy mission here in MISSISSIPPI..!!!!..IPPISSISSIM...can you spell it backwards. I have another big day tomorrow, about 115 miles, going to Green wood MS, Onward ever onward. It is getting better every day, but it is also getting hotter, i hope i have seen the last of the hills i have had to climb, my wee legs have nee killing me, ohhh good times. Sweet home Alabama..!!!!!..I am here in Birmingham Alabama, thie was the hardest day so far..about 130 miles, and it felt like it was all up hill...wow..!!!. I got into Birmingham at about 4:30 pm. great timing, i called my man Mr Kevin Drake, thought i was going to be done nice and early, ohhh how wrong i was, i had to get to the Summit, should have known by the name of it that it was going to be all up hill...i just didn't know how much..Unbelievable. I eventually got up with Kevin and his family at about, 7pm. It is great to see kevin again, has been along time, man..his wee baby girl is beautiful..!!! we played together in Scotland a few years ago, been a long time. I have a long day tomorrow again, about 115 miles or so, to Columbus MS. I can't believe how far i have come and yet i still have so much to go, still felling good, legs are great, i would die for a huge ice tub right now. Ohh by the way, thankyou to the man in the truck with the 2 dogs, I appreciate your help with my directions, i really appreciate it. Well its late, i must sleep, thank you all once again. Night...

Hey...what a beautiful day it is, I am in Dallas...no i am not visiting with JR, I am in Dallas Georgia, it is my day off today, I went to Church this morning and now I am just relaxing getting some stuff done and watching the World Cup Final. I will be heading to Birmingham Alabama, my home town tomorrow. Long day about 140 miles. Everything is going well, I have seen some beautiful sights, what a pretty country, and ohhh so so large, haha. I got to ride on my own street yesterday, BOBO ROAD..!!!!!. I am so excited I will be in another state tomorrow, i have now traveled through 4 states, NC, SC, GA and now Alabama, so many more to see. I really am loving this, my body is holding up real good, (Touch wood). Lazy day today, i hope you are all doing great, love you guys, have a great day...!!!!

Well, i am now in Tyrone Georgia....great ride not too hot, cool breeze all day. Thank you Randy, for everything, it was great to meet you and your family and you two fellas... I got to tyrone this evening at about 7ish, got lost in down town Atlanta, pretty cool really, saw the Georgia dome...maybe i can play there someday. I am staying with a brrilliant couple here in Tyrone...really cool....just got back from eating some good pizza. This is the camel, wow...she didn't like me to much, i tried to get close, she wasn't having it. It was a long ride today, was pretty hotttt. My tan looks great though. I got to SC at about 6pm, still had a bit of riding to go to get to where i needed to be, Spartanburg. I cycled for quite a ways, until i met Mr knight, great lad. I am staying with him and his family tonight, The Shrimp special was FANTASTIC, just what i needed, thank you so much Mrs Knight. It was great to meet and visit with their family, I love meeting new great people. I am feeliing good, a little tired, looking forward to tomorrow, going to Maysville GA. It is my longest day tomorrow, abot 125 miles, man, must get an early start, It is late, almost 11, so i need to get to bed, Take care, night.

Hey....Happy 4th of July....Day 3 I Left Apex today...I got into Raleigh late last night and dived straight into Jer's pool...felt so so good. I Rode from the NC Raleigh Temple to Salisbury, it was about 100 + miles, I should have followed my directions instead of listening to the local girl in the gas station. I got into Salisbury at about 6:30 pm, just before the Heavens opened. Wow what a thunder and lightning storm. The photo of me looking rough was just as i got into Salisbury, the rain was so hard it was coming upward..!!!!...I stayed with Mr and Mrs lipe, Thankyou... It was great to see them, has been a wee while. I Have a big day tomorrow, going to SC...110 miles...long day, Can't wait. Good night.....

This is the Atlantic behind me...I cannot wait to see the Pacific.....

It is Sunday the 2nd of July, I started my wee bike ride from NC to CA yesterday. I left Emerald isle yesterday afternoon and rode back to Greenville. I was such a beautiful day, beautiful ride. One day down about 35 to go. I got into kinston at about 5 pm and stopped by The Beat Box..!!!! Thanks Tom.. the logo looks amazing. I headed back toward Gville on highway 11 to meet with the TV crew, it was fun, legs cramping a wee from waiting around for about an hour and a half, was worth it though...Thank you WITN 7.... Sunday is a day of rest, and preperation, next sunday i will be in another state with so many miles behind me.
